| A New Working Mill Model | ||

The Trust's volunteers
have constructed, over the winter months, a skeleton model to show how rotation
of the windmill sails is geared up to produce the necessary stone speed
for milling. Also displayed is the mechanism by which the mill cap is turned
by the Fantail to keep the sails into the wind. It is hoped that this will
enhance the interpretation experience for our many visitors. Please note
that party visits can be arranged at any time.
